Yeah, he's two years removed from a championship, you can't fire a coach two years removed from a championship (football applicable too)

Are you really trying to compare an SEC championship to a national championship? Stop with the stupid, please.
When PM only manages 7 SEC wins 2 years in a row, you can start to make this comparison.

For the record, I'm a basketball fan. As such, watching Trent Johnson drive the program into the ground is very painful.

Its incredible. There are reasons why Trent might not be the best coach for LSU. Some posters did a good job of explaining them (Jester, this rant is not directed towards you).
But every baseball shmuck would simply post that 'losing to an instate school and being 1-5 in conference play, is not acceptable for a school like LSU. At least baseball is right around the corner'
