Finally joined the madness

I’ve been Lurking on here for years and finally decided to join up.
Little background to introduce myself.
Long time tiger fan that grew up in Metairie but relocated to mobile in the late 90’s.
Dads side is all lsu but my moms is all Bama for the most part. I give them and all my friends that are gumps as much chit as i can all year.
I’ve been to a few games and tailgated With some friends but they have since moved from the area so I’m lost as far as connections to a good tailgate goes.
My family and I are currently heading to red stick for the game. We have some family that live there but none that tailgate.
Any of you fine folks gonna be there and wouldn’t mind if we stopped by ?
Kids won’t be with us, just me my wife and my bro+sister in law .

Kinda like my wife. Bro+sister in-law live in br but are Florida and la tech grads embracing the lsu culture. It was actually their idea to take us to the game today.

Good for you. Enjoy the tailgating and game. Honestly if I was you I would get a disposable cooler or soft cooler and load it with beer/drinks. Start exploring and stop at different tailgate spots throughout campus. Most will open up their arms. Enjoy the experience and don’t forget to watch the band run down the hill! Geaux Tigers!!

How's your melting? If you want to fit in here you need to know how to melt and complain about every mild inconvenience that will inevitably happen throughout the season.

I’ve learned over the past 5-6 years to expect a let down.
Having said that, I’m cautiously optimistic for this years squad. As always, they look good on paper. Hopefully it all comes together!
