Moreso than under Saban. Miles has as many top 5 finishes as Saban, Mac , and Dietzel combined.
Of course saban helped get us there but before the 2005 season we werent a top 5 program. We were on the rise and im sure Saban wouldve gotten us there but in august of 2005 lsu was not a top 5 program

I said any team with a loss needs luck to get into the title game. At no point did i mention the sec being left out.

IMO yes. To me.
We have seen sec teams go undefeated and left out of the national title game. That would never happen in the seccg.

If we were ever considered a top 5 program it was when miles was the coach.
