Yea, I don't disagree with your opinion on it at all. Although the violence happened after the shirt.
I want to hear the "logical" cats take on it.

Yeah man I'm worried Fournette won't want to score touchdowns for us this season if we don't kiss his arse over everything he does.

. A black man from BR was killed by police on camera, and Fournette would like for black men in BR not be killed on camera. It's really as simple as that
So maybe Fournette should wear a shirt telling black people to start listening to police commands, don't resist arrest, don't illegally carry a weapon, and don't reach for that weapon as your resisting arrest........
or tell people to stop recording everything with their phone b/c more idiots will get shot if they act in a similar fashion as the idiot in the picture on the stupid shirt Fournette wore.

And people like you simply don't get it. I disagree with LSU players- hell, I think Jeremy Hill is a total POS, but I don't think LF did anything wrong showing support for a man murdered by excessive police force.

So you're just a moron, thanks for clearing that up..

please elaborate on "very democrat of you"
LF7 is entitled to have his opinion. You are entitled to have your opinion. I voice my opinion and the dick riders jump. That is what is "democrat" of the situation. Opinions are ok, unless yours is different than mine. I stated my opinion on the situation.

ashamed that an LSU player has a different opinion than you.
Not ashamed at all. Just don't agree with the timing and the possible repercussions it may cause (see this thread, for example). As I stated above, still think he is a great role model and (probably) person.

What do you do for a living?
Takes a real PoS to look down on other professions

ok so another poster that is ashamed because Fournette has a different opinion than you
here's a quick note for you idiots; read slowly.
Fournette is black. Fournette is from New Orleans. Fournette is undoubtedly not a republican. Fournette likely believes we have a problem with how police treat black folks in this country.
I say all that so that you, an LSU fan, can read it repeatedly, and let it sink in, well before September. Because at the end of the day, his opinions do not fricking matter.

this literally doesn't make any sense.

Sorry, carry on being ashamed of LF for having a different opinion than you. My bad. I'll try not to be too much of a democrat around you.

Actually a bit ashamed of buga in his response.

what repercussions? Message board chatter? I can assure you, LF and his career will be just fine. He could give a frick what you think.

It isn't that at all. I don't see how you can defend the actions of the police murdering someone who seemed pretty detained from the video I saw.

quote:Because they didnt murder him
I don't see how you can defend the actions of the police murdering someone
Because he was a depolorable human being
Because the cops were called in for brandishing a gun
because they tried to use non-lethal force in a taser, making it clear they werent there to murder him
Because he was resting arrrest while having a gun on his person
Are there tactics that could be improved upon? I believe so. But you calling these officers "murderers," is simply stupid.
ETA: And even if the cops drove up to him and shot him in the face as he was walking through the line at a grocery store for no reason, I will never agree with wearing the shirt with a picture of a child molester and woman beater on it. Being killed unjustly, doesnt make someones life any more worth while.

Did you watch a different video than the one where the cop shoots a clearly detained man on the ground?
