1997. Kevin Faulk was a star, I was a young kid, and the upset of Florida made me fall in love with LSU football.

2001- Rohan to reed was crazy fun to watch. The upset over Tennessee brought LSU their first Sec championship in over a decade. I fondly remember that Sugar Bowl with my dad.

2003- no explanation needed. That team was filthy. Splitting the title with USCe made me more aware of college football on a national level.

2006- I loved watching Jamarcus throw the football. We had some superstars on defense.

2011- the most complete LSU team of my life. The honey badger was a bonafide superstar. That team was just mauling people. My final year at LSU. Great memories.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Except that I graduated in 2004.

The 2007 and 2010 teams were your stereotypical crazy Les Miles teams. Close games, trick plays, bizarre comebacks. Just about the most stressful 23-4 record you could ever come up with.

I love the 2001 team also, but it was not NC caliber.

2006 was our most stacked team. Don't see how that team didn't win a title

But 2011 just had that swagger man. They knew they were a bunch of bad dudes. And we won't see another one like the badger for a long time.

But, can't put 2011 first because of January 9th, 2012

11-2 and a Sugar Bowl was underachieving for that team

2001 becuase of how that team ended their season. Rohan Davey to Josh Reed was unreal. Then, of course, it was still the dawn of a new era in LSU football...the greatest era.

The return to the SEC championship and then the major upset of Tennessee after losing to them on the road earlier in the year. Then, the return to and victory in the Sugar Bowl was just the topping on the cake to a very magical season.

2011 watching the Honey Badger is a close 2nd to the 2012 team. Finally seeing excellent QB play was refreshing but watching Jeremy Hill run the ball was what made me learn to DVR things. I couldnt and still cant get enough of watching this guy run the football.

Tip of the day? Draft Jeremy Hill in your fantasy leagues.

I 2nd this nomination! It was the greatest season in the history of college football for drama. The Tigers were ranked #1 most of the season and then the miracle upsets that happened to get them in the title game were surreal. The game was also in N.O. so that was special. They had several great games that season including the O.T. losses vs. Ky and Ark. and one of the best games EVER in Tiger stadium vs. Fla. w all the converted 4th downs. It was a memorable season indeed.

The 2000 Baseball team. From great Young talent like Fontenont, Pontiff (RIP) to courageous seniors like Barbier, Witten, Cresse. Skip's last championship team, struggled earlier in the year but went on a tear when it counted most. Very courageous team.
