Fans are too obnoxious and loud at baseball games

First off I'd like to say I'm probably the biggest Tiga fan on this board, having said that something needs to be done about the noise level of some of these so-called fans at the baseball games.
At the game today I was there with my wife trying to enjoy a nice afternoon at Alec Box Stadium and I just couldn't, plain and simple. Folks, when LSU is losing these "GEAUX....TIGERS" aren't firing anybody up in fact I know some of the ball players and they too are annoyed by it. Also, whenever our Tigas make a great play out in the field or come through with a clutch hit to score a run lets keep the celebration to a few seconds. There was a point in the bottom of the 7th where I had to repeatedly go get the stadium marshal because of the fans all around us not setteling down. We get it your proud of our Tigas but please keep your expressions limited there are other fans around you who are there to enjoy a nice peaceful day at Alec Box Stadium.
I can only hope this thread gets through to the powers that be and some more enforcement can be put in place to curb some of these celebrations.

I mean do you see where I'm coming from? I'm sure the majority of fans at the games in Alec Box Stadium share my opinion but are too afraid to say anything, but not me because I'm a life long Tiga

I totally understand. You and I should have lunch (or brunch) at the box, wifeys permitting

There will be some who disagree because of their ignorance. They don't know how to step back and reevaluate what baseball and the Box are really about.
It's all about your family... and the midday sun gleaming on the outfield grass.... and the sound of the pitcher's cleats dragging the mound.
It's about holding your child close and letting him or her experience baseball on a personal level... without someone wearing a backwards cap and holding a cup of beer blocking his or her view.

Oh man people who wear their cap backwards out at Alec Box Stadium is another thread completely.
The bit about the cleats dragging the outfield dirt is beautiful and I hope one day our fans realize what they're missing with all the pointless cheers and unnecessary celebrations
