Dang, hopefully a lot of these are just coaching staff being super cautious.

I think that’s usually the case with these minor injuries in camp. Seems like we see a handful every year. Better to hold a guy out a week or two in camp and get him 100% healthy than risk one of those nagging injuries that doesn’t go away all year. I would bet that most of these players would be able to play, if we were in the middle of the season instead of the beginning of camp.

My theory (and it’s 100% a theory, I have no real data here) is that it happens because guys are making their first “football moves” since spring, even if they aren’t having contact yet. Even if you’re in good shape from summer workouts, you still have to get your sea legs back so to speak, as reacting in real time is different than agility drills where you can plan your cuts etc.

Stuff like Logan’s broken foot is obviously a different story.

You didn’t get the reception you wanted on GEAUX247 so you brought your opinions over to the Rant where everyone is so much more level headed lmao

Stingley has done everything he needed to be a first round pick already. Fully be prepared for him to sand bag the frick out of this season.

I think you are going to see the exact opposite. Expect stingley to have a great yr.

Logan isn't that big of a loss. He was running 2nd or 3rd team.

Dwight is scary.

It’s football, guys are going to get injured.

Not just at LSU but at every school.

I have no idea what you’re talking about… I don’t have an account on GEAUX247.

I hate it for Logan but we will be just fine on the DL while he heals. I saw somewhere that they expect him only miss a few games at the start of the season. I think Maason Smith was going to start anyway. I think the starting DL will be:
RDE: Anthony with Ojulari on passing downs
DT: Maason Smith
NT: Joe Evans
LDE: Ali Gaye
Starters won’t really matter though because we are a legit 8 deep and everyone will rotate to stay fresh. By the end of the year I e is the Maason Smith and Jacqueline Roy to take over and be monsters.

The local beat writers have always been a bunch of pussies cowtowing to LSU. A guy like Guilbeau will trash the fook out of LSU in a column but never has had the balls to ask any coach or AD a tough question in his two decades on the beat face to face. They're only around to write the same old columns day after day, year after year providing no pertinent information in real time.

Gilbeau is garbage. Shea Dixon and Ross Dellenger are the guys doing their jobs the right way.

Shea isn't asking any tough questions. Delly's sweet spot is doing features and profiles not being a beat guy. Neither of them ever ask(ed) any probing questions.

That's blatantly obvious to 90% of this board and would get you easy upvotes except for the fact that you have zero credibility. You got the attention you crave with nearly 1900 downvotes so far. Go the frick away Bitterman.
