Hey cry baby--let me ask you this.
You guys can't be so dense as to not understand what the OP is saying. He's not a crybaby at all. He's making a logical argument that most of the country will agree with.

BTW, which game do you think the country will tune in to see?
Probably LSU vs. Okie State.
Putting aside a couple of dumb losses, I think Stanford or Wisconsin would be interesting. opponents.

When the rest of the country starts beating us we'll lose that bias. until then STFU and learn how to play defense

Class, these POS bastards boo players when they get injured.

Because we're better. The end.

They hardly drop in the polls. See Arky just now as a example and see Bama when they lost to LSU.
3 to 10 is a MUCH bigger (and more significant) drop than 2 to 4, as a 41-17 loss is worse than a 9-6 loss in OT. Simple as that.

The SEC will have already had their special SEC champ game and that game is being played in Atlanta. It is very unfair for the SEC to be able to extend anther round of their internal SEC regular season for the whole rest of the country to be forced to watch...plus robbing all others at having that entry into the big dance.
You sound like the typical Oregonian, all right. No concept whatsoever of the notion that life just isn't fair.

Oh no hes crying....

What you SEC Kool-aid drinkers do not understand is that the country knows the SEC gets much preseason Bias in rankings. Every freaking year. It is not just you, it is also Okie and Texas regardless what type of team they are fielding that year. Anyways, And the SEC gets TONS of bias when they lose. They hardly drop in the polls. See Arky just now as a example and see Bama when they lost to LSU. But Oregon, we dropped from 3rd to like 14th or something. Bama dropped a stop or such. And well, all of you say, these are the two teams ranked #1 and #2, but what you all do not get is, there is TONS of bias to get those VOTES for those Rankings. So do NOT pretend that anything is really earned. Those are all just popularity contest VOTES!

Recently Les Miles has changed tunes and become a hypocrite in saying he would welcome facing Bama again for the title in a rematch
What else was he supposed to say?
quote:
The fact is LSU had to earn their road to the Title game. It is not fair to allow Bama to sit at home and not risk playing again, never mind they did not win their Conference, or even their Division.
I agree
quote:
The whole nation already thinks the SEC gets a auto entry into the Title game.
Yea, and win every year by accident
quote:
The country will never know however if Vir Tech, Stanford, or Okie State is better then Bama.
Trust me, They are better.
quote:
Keep in mind, the BCS is not about finding out who is the 2nd best team, but rather who is the 1st best team. And we all know that is not Bama, as LSU already beat them, FACT!
I'll buy that
quote:
I feel bad for LSU fans having this great year and title game and the whole country will not tune in to watch it. The known nation outside the SEC considers 9-6 a boring snooze-fest.
It's called defense. If everyone wanted to see a 69-56 Pac 10 game, the would watch college basketball.
quote:
And there will be massive boycotts, just you wait. I have already been speaking much with blog editors from the Big Ten, Big 12, PAC-12, ACC, and all parts of the country. Watch and see no one tune in to watch your earned Title game...
Just like nobody watched the first one.

Have no idea and don't give a shite. Doesn't take away from his argument. Most of the country doesn't give a shite about watching a rematch.
I predict one of the lowest tv ratings in BCS history if it's LSU vs. ' Bama.

It's Isn't fair to LSU or the other conferences but ESPN has an agenda. They saw the ratings of the Nov 5 game and want a piece of the action. I realized this to be true when during the Stanford game Musberger tried to bring up the unfairness of it all and Herbie quickly changed the subject.
Bringo, now you are getting it. It is ESPN pushing the crap out this SEC vs SEC rematch because they assume it will be a major ratings fest.
And did you also see that other ESPN writer, whose name I cannot remember right now,,, who after the Bama loss wrote that that game was a snooze-feast and there should be no rematch. But then just today or yesterday he writes all joyfull about that rematch.
Bengal is right. ESPN is pushing the crap out of this. Remember when they were pushing for a title rematch even before the two teams played? That is why this is corrupt and a joke. And yes, Musberger has a real problem with a Bama rematch as do many others, but senior ESPN editors shoot them down...FACT!

heres the deal, i would rather LSU play someone else but the BCS was created to take all the stupid objectivity out of the equation and put the two best teams against each other. funny how others bitch about the system when it doesn't work in their favor.
get the frick over it (GTFOI). when the other conferences grow grown man football players they can have a seat a the table. until then

Word for word what many of your delusional bretheren/sisters are saying. You are at a loss to explain SEC dominance and cannot think of any other reason for it.
Field a competitive team and STFU
Posted on 11/27/11 at 6:41 pm to DucksflyinPAC
and whom might that be? You tell us which team is more deserving by what they have done?
Forget the fact that its a rematch(most of us aren't crazy about it either), but what do you do about it? Why is Alabama not as deserving as someone else? Sure, that didn't beat LSU, but neither has anybody else. It may not be popular in some parts of the country, but its only because its not their conference that this argument is about. If it were, do assume for a minute they would not being making the same argument. Lets move on.

This might be an argument if the SEC didn't keep beating teams every year in the BCS Championship game. Contrary to what you may think, there hasn't been an SEC vs SEC matchup, yet the SEC keeps winning.

True. I wouldn't want to see LSU vs. Bama again either.
The thing is, DucksflyinPAC went overboard with his argument to the point that it got a little diluted with his conspiracy-flinging and name-calling. Like I said, LSU vs. Bama wouldn't be as good as LSU vs. someone they haven't played, but that doesn't mean you have to say the SEC is a corrupt monopoly, Les Miles is a hypocrite with no principles or class, etc.
You get to the top when you WIN, especially when it's against teams that are very good. That's just how it works.
