F Receiver Next Season

Who is your favorite to take Justin's spot at the F (slot) receiver next season? Lots of candidates. Racey McMath, Jontre Kirklin, Trey Palmer, Rakim Jarrett, Kayshon Boutte, Jermaine Burton, Koy Moore. Only thing that seems set is Chase back at X and Marshall at Z. But maybe Brady decides to move them around as well.

Trey Palmer has the right skill set, but it will be hard to keep Racey off the field.

McMath seems primed to take over next year if Jefferson departs, not sure if he will be in the slot as much, but McMath is a big dude with a TON of straight line speed.

Racey McMath. 6’3 221lbs and an article in The Advocate said he was clocked at 4.4 and 4.3. He’s built like Dez Bryant. I’m surprised we haven’t seen more from him this year.

Thread on the recruiting board earlier this season said Justin was telling people he was leaving early because he wouldn’t be able to keep Rakim off the field next year.

I hate to say a Freshmen would come right in a jump all the guys we have but I have a hard time seeing Jarrett not playing significantly....

Derrick Dillon is a senior...

Freshmen will be a factor for sure. Other than Chase & Marshall the others are underwhelming

Freshmen will definitely compete for it next year but I could see us moving Chase in the F and moving Racey to the outside. Chase can play any position on the field.

I want to know where Derek Stingley fits into the offensive game plan next season. I got fully erect when I hear that mentioned on the broadcast the other day.

I want to know why Coach O would risk letting his #1 DB next year get hurt playing WR when the team literally has 7 capable WRs competing for 3 spots.

then why have him return punts?
I don't think he will be on the field every snap. I think he would be okay to play 4 or 5 snaps a game.

Because he made a promise.

Stingley is not going to play offense regularly
That was just a television talking point. And everyone is eating it up

Man, you've got some hard hitting knowledge. You must be an insider.

yeah, id wait till the next year when Chase and Marshall are gone... he would be a junior and you could give him some plays there to help heisman stuff...
Palmer is going to be hard to keep off the field imo... but Brennan likes Racey though... I think Jefferson should go pro because his stock wont get higher... go earn that dollar bud
