Or how about the FACT that Les Miles record as a head coach is 142-55 with 72% win percentage vs. Ed Orgeron who is 40-36 with a 52.6% win percentage. CLEARLY the FACTS state Miles is the better coach!!

Clearly the years of intentional gasoline sniffing has left you with very few remaining brain cells.

All Les Miles did was win football games, annually recruit Top 10 classes and win championships. It's completely asinine to interpret your post above in any way other than Les Miles has achieved much more success which "CLEARLY" defines him as the better coach.

quote:

Ed Orgeron is a much more competent head coach in the recent past, right now today, and for the foreseeable future, than Les Miles.

Unbelievable

It's been a roller coaster ride with Orgeron thus far and a case can be made that his LACK of competency is responsible for this bumpy ride.

quote:

FACT: Miles got fired after a 9-3 season, but when Orgeron goes 9-3 we celebrate. Really, people? Really??? Or was Miles 9-3 after years and years of mediocrity and embarrassing mistakes with a massive decline in the program looming? Vs. Orgeron who just got here and is clearly taking this program in the right direction?

I really don't need to say anything regarding this gem.... You did enough damage just by hitting the submit tab.

***Dont want to put that 10 win season for 2018? Lol I guess it's not a FACT yet so I should let that go. Given the thread and all.

there is no question in my mind that les miles let HIS program (which was top notch) deteriate and ed orgeron is heading in the right direction to bring it back.

will Orgeron get over the hump and beat Saban and win the SEC West? that is the question.

^nailed it.

Les Miles had a record of 4-5 in his last 9 regular season games as a Tiger. His QB was Brandon Harris. His one true ILB (Beckwith) had bailed him out and stayed for his senior season. Otherwise true freshman running back Devin White would have been his starting ILB. His kickers couldn't hit water from the beach. The clock...sweet jesus the clock... LSU football under Miles was spiraling down the toilet faster than a turd in a vacuum-pumped airplane shitter.

O came in, got Phillips, got Burrow, got Tracy, gets Stingley, does all his scoring with time on the clock. Need after need after need knocked out the park.

Miles did a horrendous job in his final years. O got it put back together before the average Joe's could see what was about to happen.

Lol

You signed up in 2016? God help you. How do you know Orgeron?

Until you get to 15000 tigerdrops over a minimum span of 10 years, your opinion is dirt.

Good day.

Refer to comment about Les Miles 4-5 record in last nine regular season games. Start there, read through QB, ILB, Kicker, Clock. Finish with O fixing all that.

You're welcome. Have a good one.

It’s a fact that you seem ultra sensitive and insecure about O.

When you say he underperformed at LSU are you talking about his last couple years or his entire tenure while at LSU? Just curious

Well I’m not on the fence about this but I will contribute to the argument or FACT

Les Miles was able to beat Saban while at LSU yet Orgeron has not beat him yet and has been shut out twice. Hmmm

Les Miles was 3-7 against Alabama(edit for "against Saban specifically") including 5 straight losses.

I'm confident that you using 10 Les Miles games Vs. Orgeron's 3 games with Les Miles players is some sort of joke/troll attempt when comparing their performances.

On second thought, that's probably a poor assumption and you're just very unintelligent and the subject of my post. Using facts like, "Les beat Saban, but Orgeron can't".

You good with Orgeron getting 10 more cracks at it after most of Miles players are gone from the team? To be fair?

Or are you sticking with "Les beat Saban" as your fact of the day that shows Les is the better coach?

C'mon, man. You seriously looking for teed up softballs like, "Miles was never any good." Do you need that to win an argument? ...Probably.

Tiger2424,

Did Les play against Saban's established Alabama monster or against Saban when he first got to Alabama? What happened the longer Saban had been at Alabama and the longer Miles had been at LSU?

L
L
L
L
L

and you better believe he would have lost the last 3 as well. Can you point to any reasonable data that would make you think otherwise?

So you're good with me saying that the longer Miles was at LSU the worse the situation was going to get?

But hey, "Les beat Saban". Facts like this birthed this thread.

For 32 of his 36 year career,no ad thought enough of O's coaching to offer him a coordinator's job,let alone a HC job.

You are ignoring the FACT that he is the better coach!

Its not debatable.

There isnt a single fact that points to O being a better HC. All you have is opinions from people that couldnt point out the jack LB if they had a gun to their head and those opinions dont outweigh facts.

Deal with it.

My facts say coaches are judged by their accomplishments. Miles is one of the most accomplished coaches in sec history and the most accomplished in lsu history.
