Knew that our pitching had serious problems. I'm just as disappointed as the rest, but just making it to the CWS was great

Haha no. Not at LSU. This season will forever be looked upon as a failure. LSU Baseball is looked at as national championship or bust.

I think everyone knew it would have been tough to win it and would have been fine with losing if we had managed the game better. The pitching decisions were retarded and that's why everyone is so upset over the loss. And just making the CWS isn't good enough anymore. We need to start actually winning games when we get there

you are gonna get lambasted.
I enjoyed making Omaha this year because I truly didn't think we would. this was a fun team and was very balanced with some fantastic defense and base running.
our bullpen was nerve wracking and our 3B defense was also subpar. no closer and lack of real quality arms.
we won the SEC with those weaknesses. we would not have advanced to Omaha if we'd had tougher matchups in the regionals and supers.
