LSU FANS THAT ARE CONTENT WITH THIS HIRE ARE THE REASON WE WILL NEVER BE ON BAMA'S LEVEL. WE JUST HIRED THE MOST UNQUALIFIED COACH IN BIG 6 HISTORY. DERRICK DOOLEY WAS MORE QUALIFIED THAN ED ORGERON. ED ORGERON HAS NEVER RAN A SUCCESSFUL OFFENSE, DEFENSE, SPECIAL TEAMS, OR PROGRAM.

Well he put fight back in a team that had been on cruise control since 2011.
Aside from that I'll wait to judge the man until I see what kind of offensive staff he assembles.

If you are insinuating that a 55 year old dl coach (arguably the best in the business) doesn't know anything about defensive scheming, then you're wasting your breath.

Which qualifies him as an intirim coach, not a permanent head coach. At a school like LSU, who just fired its winningest coach in its history, and won two national championships, we totally flopped in hiring a career defensive line coach who utterly failed when he was given an opportunity at Ole Miss.

He should be given the opportunity to display that knowledge at a school like Akron, Georgia State, or ULL, not at Louisiana State University.
