I have read post after post about how CEO is running off the "Best" OC LSU will ever hire by "meddling" with MC's offense.
I also read this from The Advocate. "Just three weeks into the season, LSU has drawn 30 penalties for 272 yards, including a season high against Mississippi State."
Providing anyone can read this print and not think a bit of meddling needed to be done to MC's offense before the Troy game, well I do believe ...Bill Engvall sign... has a sign for you.
Personally I was fond of Les Miles for several reasons outside of his "play calling" most of all because he loved LSU. Well now we have a new HC and he is gambling his paycheck on his coaching staff and 18 year olds. Something certainly needed to happen to get this team on track. I'm not saying losing to Troy was the correct answer. However the wind filled the sails shortly after the loss. I believe with a decent qb LSU has a chance to make a run but we have been saying that for a hot minute.

the reality is that the jury is still out on coach O BUT he did have a right to step in when our offense was sucking eggs. it appears there was some sort of conflict but I don't know how bad it was and neither does anyone on this board. they just revel in making up stuff to fit their bias.
so far, coach O has done a very good job but things are just getting started. if Canada would hang another year we might really be a good team. if he leaves I think O can find a suitable candidate for the money we are paying. I think he stays BTW (Canada).

I agree 100%. I have owned a small business since 1991. Providing an employee was causing the business "loss" I would certainly have to intervene in one form or another. Maybe Canada is one of those people that can't take corrective criticisms very well. What I will say about Canada is this: His offense was missing a key element "qb" When you look at how we played Bama this season vs years gone by. LSU pushed Bama around at the line and the WR's were open like I haven't seen against Bama in a very long time. DE just couldn't get them the ball and it cost them. I would like to see Canada stay on and hopefully be able to work with the qb's currently on the roster or maybe a transfer like Shea Patterson providing he comes available and decides on LSU.

He will be fired after the 2019 season. Next year will be soft as well with the coordinators leaving. The first losing season, he gone plus Alleva will be fired if Fisher ends up at TAMU.
