Yeah, but the 2011 team beat the rpac 12 and rose bowl champion at a neutral site, the big east and orange bowl champion on the road, a legitimately great top two Bama team on the road, a top five Arkansas team, and a top five UGA team in Atlanta. Had they beaten Bama again, or the Big 12 champ, in the NC, they would have had a strong argument for the best season in the history of CFB. As we all know, they blew it with the worst NC performance imaginable.

If this year's team loses to Clemson, they cant lay claim to having the best LSU season ever. No NC, no legend.

It's the best offense I've seen at LSU
Defense is not far behind but those 03 and 11 defenses were salty.
Anything 70's decade or before I'm not qualified to say since I wasn't around.
I would say 15-0 would trump anything and will be the standard going forward.
