Precisely. From his days in Pineville schools to his ASH high school years, not a soul would accuse him of poor character. Quiet and respectful. Good student. Hell he drove a chick magnet of a car and was still nervous around certain girls…my own daughter being one of them, LOL…

Hearing the two criminals were good kids up until the last year or so. You won’t find a ton of BAD kids at ASH, Pineville, or Tioga. You WILL find 1st generation students with parents from the less desirable parts of the area. Sometimes that comes with exposure to certain elements and unfortunately, even with opportunity in their faces, impressionable minds wander.

Not even describing JT there. That’s more the story of the two killers. They didn’t grow up in that world. Hence them not having a code to know you don’t take your BS to a superstars doorstep. And if you’re going on the run, why the frick would you go to BATON ROUGE ON CAMPUS FULL IF CAMERAS???

I’m probably naively talking myself into believing JT didn’t know for sure because why in the hell would you go on the run to LSU…my daughter is same age group, different area school. There’s no way he didn’t know they were named. It IS possible (maybe not plausible, but possible) he didn’t know it was confirmed. This particular crime hasn’t been talked about around here since the couple of days around it happening…and JT’s arrest the other day.

Notre Dame: higher academic standards and kids that come from good families in general.

LSU: Basically anyone can come. Kids growing up in different situations and with different IQ levels. Alot more hood rat shite. More tendency to hand with the wrong crowd.

Considering how many kids have come through the program in those 3 years I think having only 3 is pretty good.

He can't be by everyone's side 24/7 to make sure they make the right decisions in every circumstance. But by in large he's had pretty good character guys at LSU.

Agree.

Many of the athletes we recruit come from broken families, a culture that takes no responsibility for its actions, music that is vile, etc.

Some young men just choose poorly.
