Hey Cajun Football your confusing me in the other thread you said JJ was the worst qb ever to play at LSU now Josh? I think while Josh was not good in the context of the talent around him he was better than JJ and his stats were better.

Along the same lines I think you have to rate Bert in the top 3 especially when you factor in eras and complexity of passing offenses. He had good to great numbers for the type of offense LSU ran imagine putting him in the 2011 offense. He would destroy teams with the deep ball after the running game finished pounding them.

Best: Bert Jones

J. Russell
Russell had the best receivers in the nation, as a group, in 2006.

so that puts JR at the end of the list?

You are correct I mistook another posters posting as yours. My apologies but I do believe JJ is in the running for worst ever and definitely a cut below Josh who was bad in my opinion just not JJ bad.

Anyone else notice that since Tyler, we have only had the same QB play/start 2 consecutive seasons twice?? (Russell and Jefferson)

Well Mauck started the 2002 season and played what 6 games before he was injured then started the 03 season so that actually would be same starting qb for both seasons maybe with an asterisk.

I dont see the fact that JJ has started 2 straight seasons and in all probability it will be 3 as a positive. More as an indicator of how weak the qb position has been the past few years.

Best:

Russell
Hodson
Jones

I don't think there is even an argument about the best three.

Worst:

Broussard
Woodley
Loupe
