Good to see Etling developing a running game. More dual threat.

He ran 6 times for -9 (negative nine) yards.
And before you make something else up in your mind, his longest run was 4 yards.
He played a good game imo but please don't make shite up.

I swear I don't know what game some are watching nowadays

He's a tough SOB but nothing more than a game manager. With our inexperience everywhere else, he should be our starter.
Can't really say anything else.
Can't really say anything else.

He did it dumb arse. That make the defense think about it

How do you know the OP wasn't including the UF game in his analysis?
Against UF Etling had 26 yards with a run of 15 being the longest.
He did also come up just short of a run UP THE MIDDLE against Auburn yesterday.
Go ahead and knock anyone with a positive thought about an LSU player though. They should all get an immediate perma-ban for trying to be positive about LSU.

Which includes sacks. He had a few nice little scrambles yesterday

Anything objective about LSU - particularly Etling or Orgeron - is met with these "hater" tags. It's absurd. Etling isn't a good QB, but he's our QB going forward and I hope he does well. We don't need to sugar coat everything about him though.

Jesus Christ, you have incredibly unreal expectations.
He's not a great QB, he's a good QB.

Danny Etling ran for 2 yards on a designed QB run on 3rd and 3, and 4 yards on a scramble on 2nd and 3.
He had two rushing attempts, one a scramble and one a designed run, and 4 sacks. How someone can take away that he's developing more of a dual threat is mind-boggling.

At best he's an average NCAA QB. If you want to call that good, that's fine.

Objective is in the eye of the beholder. Which one of the Etling runs during the UF game did you hate? Was it the 1st down for 15 yards. I was going to do Auburn also but the UF game should be enough for objective picture for how Etling has been an effective runner for LSU.
Let me know what in your objective opinion you disagree with. Thanks !!!
You find this absurd?:
UF game:
3rd and 6 at LSU 26
(11:51 - 2nd) Danny Etling run for 15 yds to the LSU 41 for a 1ST down
2nd and 10 at FLA 24
(0:34 - 2nd) Danny Etling run for 3 yds to the Fla 21 - LSU FG
3rd and 3 at FLA 10
(12:26 - 3rd) Danny Etling run for 3 yds to the Fla 7 for a 1ST down - LSU TD on pass to Carter
2nd and 5 at LSU 30
(6:41 - 3rd) Danny Etling run for 1 yd to the LSU 31
next play
3rd and 4 at LSU 31
(5:57 - 3rd) Danny Etling run for 3 yds to the LSU 34
3rd and 10 at LSU 47
(13:23 - 4th) Danny Etling run for 5 yds to the Fla 48
1st and 10 at LSU 23
(6:59 - 4th) Danny Etling run for 7 yds to the LSU 30
Objectively horrible, huh?

Dude has heart. He did a good job not panicking and doing what he needed to

A starting NCAA QB with adequate statistics seems good to me

I mean, he's thrown one INT and is completing passes at an average of 15 yards per completion. His rating is higher than Sam Darnold, and roughly the same as Josh Rosen this year
Now that's not being objective. If the Rant "EXPERTS" say Etling sucks he sucks. End of discussion. Any objective person would realize this. His actual stats don't mean a hill of beans on this board. What on Earth is wrong with you?

Yeah what was I thinking? Stats are meaningless, lets just consult self appointed experts.
