All you did was prove fans touting the underthrow line are fricking morons.

When you resort to calling the other side names you've usually lost the argument.

You must be a troll

I've repeatedly listed facts that you don't like. Facts don't care about your feelings.

only a fricking idiot would consider an underthrow in and shape or form.

There you go again

It counts as a misfire under pressure in most peoples books.

Using a different adjective doesn't magically make you correct no matter how much you think it does.

A ball thrown HIGH OVER a player behind them calling said event and "underthrow" and "a FACT" is indeed moronic.

What we have learned:

You have no concept of what an underthrow is

You have no concept of what constitutes a fact

Not really

Yes really. Just because they weren't stride for stride doesn't mean they weren't on him. They weren't running with anybody else.

quote:

If Etling puts a little more on that pass, the two trailing DBs never get within 7 yards of Chark or the ball and Chark takes that one to the end zone. Since the ball was under thrown, Chark had to slow down and come back to the ball, allowing it to be a contested catch and the two trailing DBs to look more in position than they were.

Does it matter if they were close on him or not? By the time the ball got there, all four were surrounding it. Chark had to damn near take it from one of them.

People tend to knock Etling for not having the strongest arm. His long passes seem to be decent and his short to mid passes to the outside look okay. Where his throws concern me (overall not just last game) are his short to mid passes in the middle of the field. With all that said he's the best we've had in a long time.

Your definition of "literally on him" seems to be pretty liberal. If you consider players that had 0 chance to make a play as "literally on him," then he had 11 guys "literally on him." Two of those guys were a non-factor, which is what's important when judging Etlings decision.

Is this a serious question?

One of them was barely in the camera by the time Chark was starting his deceleration to make the play. The other guy was play watching. Of course it matters how close the defender is to the play.

You're conflating the decision to throw with the actual throw itself. I made the distinction clear in my argument. If that ball is caught at the 18-20 instead of the the 25, I doubt the closest defender even touches Chark.
