He was coached up. He wasn't that good. Go back look at the games...it was short passes until you couldn't stand it anymore. Plus Saban ran him like a running back at times. He really wasn't that great, he was good though. Drafted yes but never a chance.

Etling threw 11 td's last season. He has a whopping 9 touchdowns this season. Are you related to Danny Etling? I'm dead serious.

Etling is much more talented than Mauck and it’s not even close. You’re right Mauck was a running QB who completed like 48% of his passes until he got hurt and was forced to work his butt off throwing before his Sr. year. Mauck is like a 2* QBs Etling was a 4 and a top 10 QB in his class.

Yea and it’s really not close. Put Etling on the 03 team and he sets every passing record at LSU. It’s like yal just ignore the fact he’s playing behind our worst oline in 19 years and playing with 1 WR.

Hey, I'm just saying don't kick Etling to the curb. We've had QB's who didn't have a ton of talent that we won with. That was my point. Just try to look at it from a different view, that's all.
He can win for us. He just needs to manage the game, which I think he does for us.

Flynn was a dog and Etling is more efficient than Mauck he was also about 200 spots higher on the recruiting board. Do you realize the talent differential from a 4 to a 2 star athlete?

No Lee was not. Flynn had a passer rating around 127 that’s pretty bad and turned the ball over constantly. You can’t seperate the team success from the individual player because you dunno shite about football.. I guess you think Trent Dilfer was a Hall of fame QB too. Lol “he could read a defense” did your dad tell you that? Because you don’t have a clue what that is or what it looks like.
