I know we used Pocic as a backup C this season but next season, will Pocic play LT or C next season?

I'd imagine he plays RT while Hawkins slides to LT

Hope Hawkins improves because he's had a brutal year IMHO.

Hawkins has had a good year. Far from brutal

He looks like a prototypical LT. Assuming Collins goes pro, I think he should slide in there. Porters only a junior so we'd have him one more year.
I wouldn't mind Hawkins at LT with Pocic at RT, I just usually like to choose the lineup with the least bit of change. Sliding Pocic in at LT, and we'd have the same starters in their same spots for 4/5 positions. That's be pretty damn awesome with a new starting QB.

The drawback on Hawkins is that he's not a real natural bender. He's tall, and he's got that excellent frame for a 300 pounder, but he's also a little stiff and upright in his posture. When he gets beaten, it's usually because a defender has gotten under him and gained the leverage advantage.

Of course he can improve that, mostly by working on flexibility, but if he doesn't he will probably continue to struggle against a strong bull rush from guys that can get low.

A lot of it comes down to matchups. For instance, I think Hawkins would fare pretty well against a tall, athletic DE like Danielle Hunter. Someone like Lewis Neal (or some other DL with a similar body type) would give him more problems.

Stud loves to play OL out of position. So, he'll probably play Poicic inside and Boutte or Dodd at OT. As brilliant as putting cement boots Alex Hurst at OT.
