Who gives a shite if this is a rival game or not the implications are bigger than almost every other game this weekend, right next to Bama/AU.

Ole Miss is the only rilvary we have had through all the years, starting in the 50's. Alabama did not consider us a rivalry. We couldn't even beat them at home for years. In the 90's and 2000's Alabama and Florida became the teams to beat, maybe not rivalries. Therefore, I think we only have one true rivalry without Tulane-Ole Miss, like it or not.

I don't see why people say this and act like it matters. Like they could care less about our game because it isn't coined as a "rivalry game."

It's my favorite SEC game of the year only because I lived there for a few years, and get together with Arky friends every year for this game. Regardless of the records it has huge implications on jabbing each other back and forth all offseason.
With that said it's not a 'rivalry'. Arky has it's old Southwest Conference teams it hates, and the only true historical rival for LSU is Tulane.
