While I understand everyone deserves recognition for great play in this conference and having 3 LSU players on the list is awesome, you can't make me believe that Jarrett Lee doesn't deserve to be on this list. At least somewhere...

Lee has been a integral part in taking LSU to 6-0 but I wouldn't go as far as to say he's one of the 25 best players in the conference.

take off your purple and gold glasses and you will realize JL is not one of the top 25 players in the sec.

I don't think he deserves to be top 25.
Statistically, the highest he ranks is 5th in any category.

Meh. Just because there may be some players on there that I don't think should be there, that doesn't mean there should be some players on it that shouldn't be.

Lee isn't a top 25 player in the conference at this point....but Spencer Ware is IMO

What about Rueben? I think he is as good a receiver as any in the SEC, except for Jeffrey and anyone on Arkansas.
Spencer Ware? He doesn't have the numbers of some of the top guys, but he isn't asked to do as much, with Ford, Blue and Magee to provide relief.
At least one offensive lineman? How about the job Faulk has done this year?
They really hate our offense even though we have the second highest scoring offense in the SEC.
Also, what about Brockers or Logan? Those guys have been nails.

I AM looking at it objectively here. Look at who is on that list in the lower portions. Can you honestly say their play has been more integral or better than that of Jarrett Lee?
I've NEVER been on the praise Lee wagon, I just find it hard to believe that he's no more better/important then some of these guys. Especially when you take in account players like Chris Rainey who have done nothing for their team against two big teams.

Because I supported JJ for so long, I'm probably not the best messenger (or most honest broker)to bring this up, but you guys need to realize that Lee is a system QB who's been pretty tightly controlled by the coaches. You could plug 6 of the other QBs in the SEC into his position and we'd still be 6-0 with similar stats.
Sorry if that bothers you (it shouldn't) but this is a team effort. He's simply not a standout QB on a mediocre team. He's an average QB on a great team.

I don't know of 5 offensive players who belong on the list. There are so many freakin' good defensive players in the SEC. This list should have one or two LBs, and then be filled with DLs and DBs. It is a joke of a list.

You know you have a point. I think it says even more that we have no offensive players on the list period. When you look at how we have played on offense through this season I'd have to say that someone has to be do something enough to earn recognition.

While I agree with you and understand where you are coming from I feel that it shouldn't be a reason to ignore what he has done. Also since he is a system QB someone on offense has to be doing something enough so that Lee is able to just be a system QB.

All 3 of those guys have a strong case to be recognized as one of the SEC's best offensive performers. Maybe Chris Low's list will be different.
