I'm intense enough to know that Doucet missed almost half the season, and is Not in the NF

And Craig Davis is? Do you now want to argue who had the longer and more successful career between the 2?

But if you insist on counting him, Russell then had 4 NFL receivers to throw to

So at what point during Brandon lafell's redshirt freshman season, during which he caught all of 5 passes, did he become an nfl caliber wide receiver?

Also, when are you going to talk about Saban's choosing to start a senior with previous starting experience over a redshirt freshman with no experience whatsoever?

JR was a little taller, but Flynn was an awesome size and had the zing on the ball. Literally, it zinged

Is there supposed to be another interpretation of this statement that I'm missing? Because this reads as if you are inferring Matt Flynn had/has a stronger arm than jamarcus Russell.

JR never arrived.

he had one of the best - if not the best - seasons by a QB in LSU history. All SEC, a nat'l award winner, and the 1st pick in the draft. collegiately, he arrived and fulfilled his potential.
