No, but last night did show that there really isn't anything wrong with the scheme or philosophy. Miles was just too scared, stubborn, whatever, to allow it to open up more

these words, like "scheme" and "philosophy" are really bantered about too much. football is a game of running or passing. in general passing teams use more receivers and running teams use more blockers.

this team is built to be a running team mainly.

however, Ensminger spread the defense out last night and made them cover the whole field. even from running formations. TE's and RB's are receivers too.

under CC's offense (or Miles, who cares anymore) there was some sort of bravado with them about not caring if the D knew what you were going to do or not; they did not develop the passing game enough to help the team win. and didn't seem to know HOW to do that.

swear I think some of you guys don't watch the game. Or maybe you just don't know what you're looking at. Every running play is the same, every passing play is the same

you hit it on the head. but they talk the talk tho. mostly they repeat stuff they heard somewhere else.

I wish them well elsewhere, but I am so glad this obviousness was demonstrated to the world. They had an insanely archaic plan, and this is lightyears better. Now we have a chance to look good.

The difference last night I think was we passed to set up the run, rather

We didn't have to set up the run. We ran anytime we wanted to. The line owned them.

We ran for almost 70% of our offense and 100% of our scoring, but yet some are trying to make a big deal our of the passing which was almost exactly the passing in our Mississippi State game.

You're kidding right? When you see JD Moore split out AND he catches a ball in space, that's not the same old running or passing formation. I go back to Charles Alexander days when i was there and I can definitely see the difference. So either you're a Miles defender or just haven't watched much football. Running out of single back sets are not what was run when Miles was screwing up calling plays.
Are you a Miles defender?

You're shitting right? Yeah we had more rushing yards and these runs were longer. The slants and passes to TEs and 9 different receivers. NINE!!!! Are you senile?
Record yardage against an SEC Opponent EVER! EVER!!

I could probably find stats close to those seen in those two games for numerous QBs/teams, and they would not be the same type of game.

It just seemed like a much better orchestrated effort, even if the stats ended the same.

Go look again. We're saying the same thing you are, man. The last part was what some apparently think. I literally said the same thing you said, and he was agreeing.
