I really really hope this is a joke. ESPN is still cleaning their mouths after slurping us all series long. It was great exposure for LSU the way they talked us up so much. I'm just sad we never saw the "Welcome to the NOW" commercial.

I'm still having withdrawls from not seeing Visogoth State commercials...

A true Cinderella story. It was a great game when they fended off the Jags.... literally.

This is a bias B.S. thread. The ESPN announcers were pulling for another thriller like game one of the series, which makes their jobs much easier.
They might have been subconsiously pulling for the underdog at the time to make it an exciting game but that is all.

Was anyone else tired of seeing the damn clip of Wood throwing 13 innings against BC? Funny how in game 3 they did not show his stats since the BC game.

I think they were pretty fair and if they leaned either way, it was in favor of LSU.

Same here.
Hell, the first 2 games all 3 of them were wearing purple for God's sake.

Those announcers were basically sucking PM's dick the whole series. I don't agree with this and it's funny that this thread was started, because hardly any of us actually believe ESPN hates LSU, just a couple of idiots.

Even after the Tigers pulled away they were nowhere near as complimentary.
The funny thing is that the Texas fans said the complete opposite. I'm pretty sure that the announcers were indifferent as to who won.

Robin and Orel were rooting for Tigers
both hate Texas
Robin, got beat up by a Texas Ranger and played Okie State
Orel was fired twice by Rangers whose owner is a big supporter of UT.

Not being from Okie State, he wasn't brought up in "root for your conference" bullshite that we try to pull today.
