Every TV announcer wants a close game. It’s better for ratings and is more dramatic.
This applies universally, not just for LSU.

Believe what I want? I spent 30 years in sports television. Believe me, Sparky, it’s all about the ratings and the announcers understand it. Their job is to keep folks tuned in…..nothing else.
