Oregon, Ohio State, everyone else in that conference is mediocre or poor.

What happened to Michigan? Can they even make a bowl?

I can't wait to risk an out of conference loss by playing Clemson next season.

I'm looking forward to watching LSU play Clemson as well.

Who in their right mind is allowing us to play any out of conference teams with a pulse?

People who like to watch quality football during the regular season.

...and people who want to generate more money.

Would you rather play Clemson or a playoff game?

Both. If you can't beat Clemson, how could you expect to win the national championship? It's not just about making it to the playoffs, it's about winning it all. I would rather LSU win it all by having the best team, not lucking into it with a weak schedule.

Beating Texas in 2019 was awesome.

I agree that this coaching staff seems to have problems getting ready for openers. They would do well scheduling a cupcake to open.

I just remember how the defense prepared for their opener against Oregon in the summer of 2011. That preparation led to one of the best defenses LSU has fielded. I also remember how the offense prepared during the summer of 2019. If Kelly could prepare like those teams over the summer, it wouldn't matter who the opener was.
