The main issue with LSU this year amongst the talking heads has been that LSU has not reached what was expected of them this year.
They were expected to be a tough, defensive minded team that was going to beat you up. Everyone knew they had problems at qb. They were expected to have a good punishing running game as well where they would pound out some tough yardage. In short we were expected to be what Alabama was this year. A tough defensive team with a run first attitude.
What was perceived is that we were an underachieving team. Weak on both sides of the ball with mistake prone players.
We will find out next year how much of this was underachieving players and how much was coaching.

Here's something good they could say since most of you idiots think there's nothing:
LSU has a lot of talent but they played under their potential. Maybe they can re-focus for the bowl game and make this season less of a failure & be a springboard for next year.
Now, was that really that hard to come up with?

but you make it sound like they only did this to LSU, they also did it to every other team who looked bad at the end of the season

Wow this whole victim mentality thing has got to stop. ESPN does not hate LSU. I saw the show you are referring to last night. The analysis was very fair based on what we did this year. WE LOST TO ARKANSAS! What good is there to say? Wow
