Kneels again. How many of you honestly believe that Reid, Kap, etc could honestly articulate any sort of cogent, meaningful argument using facts, reason, logic, stats, etc. to explain why the black man is oppressed by police in today's America? I mean, head over to Nola.com some time and take a look at the crime blotter. I don't recall seeing any cops shooting up playgrounds or murdering people over gang affiliation. Is this all just an attention grab?
He and whoever else has every right to do whatever, but are these guys just plain stupid or what? Has anyone ever challenged one of these guys to present an actual argument based in reality?

It's not disappointing really, half of these guys can barely read at an adult level. I just mean it would be nice to hear a logical argument from one of the "protestors." For Christ sake, Kap was a Fidel Castro supporter. That should tell you everything you need to know about him. He's a complete fraud. But Reid? Look up some stats sometime guys. It isn't cops responsible for all the bloodshed in NOLA and elsewhere.

Eric Reid has always come across as a well spoken and intelligent guy, which makes this all the more perplexing.

Yep. It doesn't mean he's impervious to bad judgement or miscalculations, though. I think his intentions are well but his reasoning, the conclusions he has come to, and actions are logically flawed.

They are killing the NFL...they really are. This country has provided them with life-changing opportunities, and they take that for granted. Let em' keep on, and watch the popularity of the NFL continue to decline. I hardly watch the NFL anymore because of this absolute bs. I'm not alone. The NFL needs to come out and make a rules change. Players don't have to stand or show respect, but the NFL shouldn't have to let them in the league either.

NFL guys are more educated than any of the major sports and likely more than the regular public if not significantly so. I don't agree with the kneeling and think Kap being the "face" of this movement among the NFL does a disservice to it, because he can't really articulate his stance very well. But you're unfairly painting with an extremely broad brush--there are likely some kneelers who could articulate it really well. They just aren't given the opportunity Kap was. But you're barely above a functioning retard yourself, so I wouldn't expect you to be able to understand any sort of nuanced position.

Yes they play a children's game for millions of dollars and most blow all of their earnings soon after they leave the league. But this is more about the ability to use basic reasoning and logic to present an argument that they apparently feel strongly about. That or it's just the typical bullshite virtue signaling we see everywhere now. Do they really care? If so, why now? Why hasn't anyone cared all this time with all the gun violence going on in NOLA, etc?
