His opinion and I respect that. However, I hope Gurley trucks his arse.

He is just getting attention he ain't fighting shite. He wants to fight something and be a real man then join the marines.

Even the part they took out that anthem that says it's okay to shoot runaway slaves?
Or that doesn't count in your argument

That's the thing. He's not actually "standing up" for anything.
He's attention seeking and deserves all the attention (both good and bad) he gets.

Funny thing is, if he weren't a former LSU player, many of us would be hating on him far more.

No NFL for me. I just turned the game off. I'm done until the NFL mans up.

Every day. He is an ignorant brat like Kaepernick. Yes, we all know he is exercising his right to free speech, as are we. Reid is a brat. You want social change? Stop black on black crime - go be a savior.

I stand up for our flag all the time bitch
Ok, do you stand perfectly at attention? Do you correctly display flags when hanging them vertically? Do you take them down at night if they do not have a spotlight on them? Have you ever properly retired a tattered flag?
Doubtful.
There are guidelines to flag etiquette in our country, but there is no law that says he has to stand during the National Anthem.

The only way to affect change in our country is to join the military?

Disgrace to LSU and to this country. Hope he never comes back here for anything.

Piece of garbage like all the rest of them that disrespect the country. They can all get fricked, regardless of college.

No but the use of the phrases going to war, fighting for change, it's a war, to describe an athletic or what he does is childish.
If they want to go to war, fight for something, or go to war then they should join up.
