So tired of fake vets saying they support Kaepernick pissing on the flag. You are probably the same guys gaming the system for 100% service connection for bullshite claims. I don’t know any real patriots who say they lost a limb so Kaepernick can spit on the flag.

When did he piss or spit on the flag?

Uh, that’s EXACTLY what they fought for. They fought so Kaepernick could have the freedom to protest what he believes is an injustice. Whether or not it actually is an injustice is irrelevant. All that matters is Kaepernick believes it is as is expressing his right to speak his mind about it. If his boss has an issue with him doing so while he is on his dime, that’s another discussion. But the fact that you don’t like it and feel it shouldn’t be allowed is irrelevant.
Sorry you are not a fan of freedom. Perhaps you should find another country to live. Perhaps Saudi Arabia would fit your liking.

Eric can apparently piss from his knee now. Impressive.
I don't remember that from high school.

Yeah I don't think you understand the point of a protest LOL. He should only protest while playing God Bless America, watching Field of Dreams, and the privacy of his own home

I can tell you, speaking for three generations of my family, it is PRECISELY for men like Kaepernick, and his right to peacefully protest injustice, that we were willing to serve. Want to respect the American flag? Then respect the ideals for which it stands. Bullying language and calling peaceful protesters 'sons of bitches' who should be fired aren't among them. Does that answer your question?

Since I have a different view, you want to bash me and belittle my service? That is rich. I am sorry that my moderate views aren't conservative enough for your liking.

ER needs to stay in his fricking lane. If he wants to protest for a living then go fight the good fight elsewhere. The field isn’t the place for that shite
Why?
It's a free country and one which was founded on protest and civil disobedience, although Reid did not engage in civil disobedience. Are his actions any different from Rosa Parks? He didn't disrespect the flag and he certainly didn't disrespect veterans or men currently in service.
Where would the country be without peaceful protest: Women's suffrage, the civil rights movement, etc.
Folks have used their celebrity many times to highlight problems, injustice etc. Ever heard of Tommy Smith and John Carlos two Americans who used their victories in the Olympics to protest injustice by raising their fists.
Do none of you have black friends who have been stopped by police for "Driving while black". I have many such friends, one of whom was stopped pulling into his own driveway. "What are you doing at this house in this neighborhood?"
The national anthem "controversy" is made up outrage, orchestrated by the divider in chief, racist a-hole Donald Trump. It's the same thing Nixon did back in the day.
Finally, protesting at work is nothing new and it hasn't alway been non-violent. Goons hired by employers have engaged in violent worker rights suppression. Is that American too? Yes it is, because the wealthy, the powerful and business leaders have frequently tried to put down worker's rights.

Like black officers are more likely than white to shoot black perps for crimes involving guns.
Like the disproportionate amount of murders in many urban areas. The fallacy is that young white males dont get hassled by cops, and every time a black man does it's race.Obviously there are racist in every walk of life, but its beyond frustrating to be called a racist in every discussion. There is a a problem, but a good hard look in the mirror world do us all some good.

LSU Tiger or not, nothing trumps our country! Football is a sport, played for fun & entertainment. What made this country possible, the men and women serving in military, is for real. Real blood, real loss, real death. frick Eric Reid and any other person that disrespects our flag. One having the right to do something doesn't mean its ok to do, nor does it exclude one from the consequences. You have the "right" to put water in your gas tank, let me know how that works out for you. Piece of shite liberals.

One hell of a irrational rant. Well done.

I also served and fought for my country. Reid and Kap and the rest of the NFL are spoiled cancers who have no idea what it is like to leave your family not knowing if you will ever see them again. The military teaches respect. These idiots do not know the meaning of the word. I am ashamed that he ever played for LSU.
Save your breath and take care of your family Brother. The Nation is divided and it appears there is no middle ground to be shared.

Hold on... they aren't protesting against the military.
This argument is stupid. It's a civil rights issue. Right or wrong, bringing the military into it was a sneaky distraction.

Hopefully he realized not to take his career for granted. Take advantage of this second chance.

As a Saints fan I welcome Eric Reid to the NFC South.

Yes anybody who supports a Castro loving flag kneeling cop hating piece of trash I feel very comfortable calling out. Funny how you support Kaepernick’s right to bash the country but don’t support mine to tell you what I think. Liberal hypocrisy at its finest.
