You don't want miniorities (Eric Reid) standing up for these things so why do you guys want them playing for your team???

This is starting to annoy the shite out of me
First, the SJWs took off and started getting offended by anything and everyone
Now, the people who constantly bitched about the SJWs getting offended are doing the same shite

Respect him as a player, not as a person now.

Are you for real? The fact that he used to play for the school I'm a fan of means I can't disagree with his personal beliefs? Might be the dumbest thing posted in this thread.

Respect these individuals even if you dont agree with current American social issues and stand you fricking arse up and place your hand over your heart during the national anthem

Exactly why would I recite a anthem that had this as the third stanza.

God I love how much this pisses people off. I hope LF does it Saturday.

Im just saying that lsu fans will turn on players at a flip of a switch. You have people saying he's a trash human being and making references to his wife being "white". As if that validates their argument.
When 24 hrs agos, E.Reid was many folks favorite recent lsu player. The fact is people turn on folks extremely quickly.

I'm one who never minds an athlete or actor or whomever speaking out on social issues. It's their right as American citizens and if they are provided a platform, I can understand them wanting to use it. But:
1) how long are they gonna do this? Once seems like enough. It got everybody talking, seems it worked. What's the point of continuing this? There is no concrete, attainable goal.
2) Not a good look for Eric Reed considering what went down with the Baton Rouge police in the city he went to college, right down the road from where he grew up.

Their actions don't bother me. The retarded commentary I've had to hear in the week leading up to real football on the other hand...

Your name fits perfect. I love how judgmental you are when you have no clue what he is fighting for. While I don't agree with him, he has every right to do what he is doing.

This place would be extremely entertaining if that happen. Just like the Alton Sterling/LF7 thread.

Why don't you dumb fricks quit shitting on ex lsu player that's a very stand up guy..
Posted on 9/1/16 at 9:54 pm to JBeam
They only love them when they are playing for lsu but as soon as something like this happens they're horrible people.

"I think it would be foolish if you were to say there isn't an issue in this country with minorities," Reid said. "There's a million issues in America and this is something he feels strongly about and I respect him for voicing his opinion on it."
Posted on 9/1/16 at 9:55 pm to JBeam
Eric come on your better than that....
Posted on 9/1/16 at 9:56 pm to Geauxt1499
They should have some integrity and refuse to take all the millions forced upon them by their white overlords.

Yeah maybe they should become police officers and make a positive difference
