They don't even know this
The 3rd verse of the national anthem is about killing runaway slaves.
First get a education.
2nd- learn history and not from your redneck family or neighbor.
3rd. Don't be a lsu fan because you never went there. Go join the gumps.

When African Americans get a fair shot at that oppurtunity, will you let them know?

Any lack of opportunity is a result of societal things and a democratic party that has implemented program to ensure that blacks as a whole live in poverty. It has nothing to do with the country, the constitution, or the men and women who have fought to preserve our freedoms.

No, it's not.

I would bet my life--no, my kids' lives--that you had no idea about the whole national anthem thing until a week ago.

Its funny how so many conservative a-holes will root for these african american football players but if they saw them on the streets they would cross to the other side.
And then when they leave they could give 2 shits about them. Teh same people are the ones who shite on LF when he wore the shirt, guess what the school needs the players more than your arse backward racist support.
So if you don't like it take your support somewhere else like the 1959 UK basketball team because this fan base would be so much better without you imbeciles.
bullshite.
Total nonsense.

Your argument makes no sense.
The society and the implemented programs of the parties are emblematic of what this country stands for. They are one in the same. To try to sequester one from the other is asinine.

You probably said the same thing when people were acting a fool in the street over racial issues too. So now you have people voicing themselves peacefully and you still have a problem. GTFO.
I get it, you can't make a statement of have an opinion unless our forefathers' grandchildren agree.
It's unreal to me how many times I have seen people regurgitate this idiotic sentiment thinking it's profound or sensible.
Because previous "protests" have devolved into looting, violence, and all other forms of criminal disruption, any future form of protest in support of this same cause therefore cannot be criticized or rejected by those who disagree with it, on account that, well, it's not violent and destructive this time?
Honestly, have you people ever considered thinking critically about your thoughts prior to putting them on the internet?

Eric Reid is the new Gary Chambers.

Great retort. It's almost like Trumps's speechwriter helped you come up with it.
Moron.

Do we have to do this 2 days before the first game of the year. Why does this matter? This crap doesn't affect me except seeing it at the top of the page for the rest of the night and throughout tomorrow. So what if he sits down for a National Anthem, all that should matters is that you do it if you feel like it.
Have I not been saying this ad nauseum this entire thread?

What does privileged fleeing have to do with this? Schools are inefficient and we under fund them.

You mean the same constitution that didn't classify African Americans as actual people until the 14th amendment, right?
The same country that rallied to protest and vilify children when an attempt to equalize education was formed?

For you to say that means you don't understand the issue. What is the demographic of Episcopal, Catholic, St Joes, U High compared to Scottlandville, Glenn Oaks, Tara.
Do these kids have the same oportunities? And please spare me the counter argument that ur second cousin twice removed's ex girlfriend went to Tara and she's a nurse. We are talking systemically what are the odds of someone to be successful and how is it affected by racial and socioeconomic standing. That's why its important.

Ok, but what systemic actions are taking place? Who's fault is it that black men are shitty father's and the anger and violence in the black community is off the fricking charts?
Systematic racism is real. I'd love to break it down for you because you would be shocked by some of the outdated laws that are still on the books in many places in the country. I'm not qualified to really preach about it or to properly relay the relevant examples that I have read about or the interviews I've listened to. I was really ignorant in the topic. It is profoundly disturbing to learn a thing that you can never unlearn. It's so much more complicated than JUST being poor or JUST coming from a single parent house hold. There are many layers. There is a pretty eye opening episode on joe rogens podcast where he interviews a former Baltimore cop that goes all in about it. It's just a really honest interview. It's worth a listen an easy launching point on the topic.

I have been studying this broad subject of race, etc. for well over 50 years...I could give this site a PHD+much much more...racism and tribalism is actually as natural as anything for all mammals...I spent 10 years studying anthropology specifically to understand homo sapiens...these divisive triggers are being used to divide and conquer the USA as we speak by TPTB, particularly George Soros, an Ashkenazi who is both brilliant and evil and the puppet-master of BHO...do some real research and you will be shocked...as an ex-teacher, I couldn't help but trying to shake some of the few smart folk on this site out of their foolish box...lol
