Yes, and those students can work for any research company that will hire them and make money off of their skills (brain). These athletes are not awarded that same option.

Not what I meant. Those students perform research for which the University receives millions of dollars in federal grants. Additionally, athletes regularly "work" in the off season for boosters and receive premium money for ….shall we say....less than premium work.

I see his point, but if he wanted to get paid, he should have gone to Bama.

Seriously, screw Eric Reid.

He went from one of my favorites on the field to the absolute most disgusting former player.

I cannot stand this dude.

That seemed like more of a shot to his current team Carolina than anything.

Not really.

He's asking for players to be paid, but he's actually making LSU look bad for upgrading.

LSU's facilities upgrade has nothing to do with an NCAA rule. He's so ridiculous. They have nothing to do with each other.

I didn't interpret that as a shot at LSU at all, but rather on what he said (or implied): there's enough money to be made off the backs of these student-athletes to fund something (arguably) over the top (hence the Carolina reference), so they should get more than they do.

That's a shot at the NCAA, not LSU.

Oh really! Obviously you haven't looked at the present cost of attending LSU. TOPS coverage is down 60-75%. Do your research and then talk. Why do you think student debt is over $4.3 trillion, not billion but trillion.
