Did you ever notice JL always talks about the team and him and JJ have good repore yet have never ever JJ mention JL or the team in any way? Always me, I and myself dude has a slight problem! I thought he played his tail off in the games that he played but just not a team player-sorry!

Was he also misinterpreted when he got in Ware's face after throwing the ball at his back?
Are you a lipreader???? Do you know what was said?
If so, please enlighten us all.

repore
No.such.word.
I think you mean rapport. Go back and listen to some of the interviews... the questions where "what did YOU..." not "what did the team..."

I will leave the JJ lipreading to you Tigress I know how much u enjoy it!
And yea equol it was 4 yards of total offense versus McNeese. He did amass 47 total yards vs ULM that is probably the game you are thinking of!
I am guessing if he thought he played well putting up 4 yards vs McNeese he had to be estatic with his play vs ULM.

Figuratively speaking Tigress.

Not really. Most of the fan base knew JJ was not a very good QB. Only Les Miles and a few retards who post here thought differently. It's all on Les Miles. He alone made the decision to play JJ exclusively.
i would normally agree, but If Im a player and today is not my day, I can man up and say "you know what coach, it might be best if you give another a shot, I aint got it today."...I actually did that in college vs Florida. I made two costly errors, my head wasnt right, my buddy, who was my back up actually came in made two diving unbelieveable catches and hit a 3 run shot to win the series...best feeling i ever had...
Jefferson actually believed he should have been out there...

not being a 21 year old kid with a microphone shoved in your face.
1. You are no longer a "kid" when you are 21, a 3rd year starter, and have the belief you can play at the next level.
2. The JJ lovers had no problem bashing a true freshman (Lee) mercilessly until he was replaced by JJ against Arkansas.

Well I will agree with you for once Tigress!
Dazed and confused is the perfect caption for JJ!

Yes, you're still a kid at 21. I have known many a 21 year old that have made poor decisions that wouldn't happen later in life.
Just because you're "legal" doesn't mean you have wisdom.

And this is what drives me nuts, partially. I saw him start like everyone else and just watched. As the game went on, I was like, "this is unreal. He may as well be blindfolded." He looked completely lost.
And I've backed the kid for a long time. SIAP:
It was probably the worst game I've seen him play, and that's counting that awful game against Penn State when we played on a wet sponge.
But he just stood there and got sacked. Twice that I can recall. Don't even throw try to throw the ball away. Just stand there.
His post game comments ticked me off even more. Everyone else played like shite, he thinks he played a good game.

That TigerFan55555 is what a team player is all about.

Jefferson brings a lot of this on himself. IF he ever accepted responsibility for his poor play just a little, all would be OK, BUT HE HAS NEVER DONE THAT. Thats the problem with most fans. Be a man and a leader and he has never done that.

The funny part is JJ has never shown those qualities but over the spring Les embarked on the JJ promotion tour and kept gushing on how good a leader JJ was!!!!
In retrospect you wonder why Les would try and portray JJ as something completely opposite of what he is?

My two cents.
I agree that the over-the-top JJ bashing needs to wind down. Whatever criticisms some wish to levy I can't fault his efforts.
But I disagree that he is still a "kid." He's a senior, this was his 4th bowl start - not a kid any longer. I don't have a comprehensive list of all his quotes, interviews, etc but I don't ever recall JJ putting the emphasis on his teammates in a complimentary fashion.

quote:He showed that in the Championship game. All season since he has given us "The best chance to win" according to some people,he is the worst QB on the roster. He, because of off field issues, is not the guy that started 9 games, got us to 9 wins, got us to the #1 team in the nation yet, after 2 interceptions in the 11/05 Jarrett Lee game was banished from the field for the season, after not getting a shot because he is not a running QB. Last time I looked pocket QB'S throw with their arms and read defense. Jefferson can not do any of these things,or he would have done it when it counted. Thanks CLM...Here is the latest oxymoron: Coach Les Miles. I have defended you for years, when no one believed in you. Right now I have no respect for a coach that would make such hardheaded, boneheaded calls. You could have won us a national championship, and the best collegiate season ever. Use your head, not your hat.

Maybe I picked the wrong word. Maybe I should have picked maturity.
It doesn't matter. The haters should just stop.
These are the same exact people who hated on JL after his pick 6 year.
