So let me get this straight. The game is a sell out, but people who spent their $ on tickets aren't going to the game. What ever happened to giving tickets to friends who will go?

I can't imagine folks who know they are not going to go to the game can't make a call or two to give away their tickets.. hell, I will drive in from Houston, just let me know!

People who can donate a ton of money aren't necessarily passionate fans. Also, some tickets have been passed down to kids who probably don't give a shite. It's still baffling that people won't try to at least give their tickets to friends or family if they don't plan on going.

Empty seats between the 20 yard lines is a bit embarrassing imo

This. I remember being in TS for the 96 Kentucky game. LSU up by 4 scores and 82,000 strong cheering them on til the final snap.

My solution is if you don't use your seats for more than two games you don't automatically get tickets te following years. They shpuld go back in the pool of tickets. This would encourage people to give their tickets away when they aren't using them. There are some chair backs in the east section that I don't think anyone has sat in all year. It a shame there isn't standing room only tickets available. That would allow people to fill in seats but there are no areas to do that.

I think panzer is correct, don't want to be around all the drunk, vulgar atmosphere that associated with it and blame the admin for allowing it to get to this, just to get more money in their greedy little pockets. It's no longer about supporting the team, it's more about how vulgar you can be. No way I would bring my family to that.
