So then he gets more time personally with recruits, and the assumption is that whoever we've "ghost hired" is gonna recruit his arse off until the announcement... then suddenly... better players
Doubling down. That's a bold strategy.

It seems like everyone else is making moves, and I expected a bit more decisiveness from the staff on who would replace Sullivan.
They knew he'd be gone a year ago. You figure a decision would've been made by now.
If you knew literally anything about the way CFB works, you'd know that with an assistant down O gets to make more official recruiting visits. Since he's our best recruiter, this makes sense. No hires until the staff is confident in the remainder of the class.
Its fricking recruiting 101
eta: ok actually you are either dumb as frick or incapable of admitting you were wrong.

Wow. Not even close to correct. From the LSU Office of Compliance:
You are also considered an LSU booster if you have done any of the following:
Participated in (or been a member of) an agency or organization promoting LSU Athletics;
Made financial contributions to LSU Athletics or to a LSU Athletics booster organization;
Been asked by an LSU Athletics Department staff member to assist in the recruitment of a prospective student-athlete; or
Been involved in promoting LSU Athletics.
Important reminders for LSU fans and boosters:
Do not provide anything to prospective or enrolled student-athletes (or their families) without prior approval from the Compliance Office. If a student-athlete or his/her family accepts any benefits of special consideration (e.g., transportation, meals, money, etc.) based on his/her athletic skill, the student-athlete will lose his/her eligibility and LSU will be subject to NCAA penalties.
Boosters are permitted to host occasional meals for student-athletes at their home, on campus, or at a facility that is regularly used for home competition, but these meals must be preapproved by the Compliance Office through the team's head coach. Boosters may provide transportation to the meal only if it takes places at the booster's home.
Boosters are prohibited from any involvement in recruiting activities. LSU coaches and athletics department staff members are the only individuals permitted to be involved in the recruiting process.
Boosters may not make contact with LSU prospects or their relatives, coaches, teachers or school administrators for the purpose of recruiting. Boosters may only speak with prospects (or their families) if it is unavoidable, incidental contact, and the discussion does not include anything related to LSU Athletics.
A prospect remains a prospect even after he/she signs a National Letter of Intent (NLI) or financial aid agreement to attend LSU. The prospect does not lose his/her prospect status until the start of classes at LSU or the beginning of official team practice prior to the start of classes (whichever occurs earliest), at which time they beome an enrolled student-athlete.
Once identified as a booster, an individual remains a booster for life.

Baltimore St. Frances is one of the marquee programs in the nation with a deep talent base, and LSU coach Ed Orgeron took notice of it.
During a stop at the school Thursday, the Tigers head man extended nine offers to members of the 2020 and 2021 classes, including the top weakside defensive end in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, Alabama commit Chris Braswell.
Those are the ones that hit the Twittersphere. The man is working on recruiting right now. Chill the frick out.

Lol Eaux just got played on the recruiting trail again and here we are waiting for him to hire another one of his buds while Alabama is filling multiple vacancies with quickness. And yes if we want to win the west we have to beat them so it’s relevant.

Per Mike D, he had some names but did not release them on Moscona's show.
Reading between his comments, I'm guessing it may not be a WR coach per se, might be a passing game coordinator type with Joseph handling WR's after getting coached up by Sullivan.
Faulk is likely heir apparent to Robinson if or when he leaves the staff or until someone else comes and hires him away for an on field role.

Explain please.

I thought his last horrible hire - Bill Busch - was Aranda's call. I'm confused, does Eaux hire his buds only?

I wonder why pretty much Bama's whole staff left. Do you have any crimson colored glasses revelations on what happened? Why is Bama having to replace pretty much their entire staff?

No shite Sherlock. Is the fact that Bama lost so many analysts and assistant coaches good for them?
Are you crying over LSU having one fricking vacancy to fill?

Mike D is either a liar or doesn’t know shite. Perhaps both. He said last year that the new OC wasn’t on the current staff. A week later E gets the nod. He’s buddies with Eaux. He just perpetuates the propaganda

Bill Busch was a grand slam and we all know who hired him.
You’ll see in about 2 weeks what I mean about recruiting

Everyone knows Sophster is gone. Stop believing fan fiction. It's pretty apparent the staff is chasing others at this point

Believing what I see Roger. I see a really good class that has a glaring area of need missing.
