I mean they aren’t helping, but the real (and obvious) issue is our scheme and approach. Our RBs didn’t get any carries in the first half of the OM game. That is, we did not try to actually run the ball.
This has been one of the consistent things with Kelly’s lsu teams. Refusal to establish a consistent run game. While the ok looks lost and ineffective, running plays give a better opportunity to win on a given play. They aren’t getting wins/body blows and the result is max coverage with 3-4 chasing the QB
