Went through all the past #18 of this Century...

was reminded Terrancer Magee was one of them..

Anyone from catholic or BR (or anyone) ... can say why Helaire is not capable as T. Magee?

Terrance you mean? Might want to fix his name before the rant area wake up and derail this thread

But to answer your question I thing the board for the most part expects CEH to get bulk of the carries

Think you mean?

Might want to correct your own spelling before you correct someone else’s.

18is generally given to a senior if I remember correctly. Brumfield? Battle? Moreau?

Nope, since the tradition began with Jacob Hester it’s been 5 seniors 4 non seniors, though one was a junior who left early, Bennie Logan. The ones that stick out the most in my memory we’re #18 for more than one year. Hester, Tre White, and Richard Dickson.

Actually is was Matt Mauck who started it.

Yes, that is indeed correct, but I was referring to the recipients, Mauck started the tradition that involved handing down the number to the player primarily regarded as the hardest worker, if I recall correctly. Hester was the original recipient. I could have worded that better.

Care not about votes :-)

But I wasn't saying Helaire should be #18 ...

I was asking ... without the appropriate context ...

With all this concern for the RBs....

I am asking those (Catholic fans, or any/all that know) ... Why can we not be sure Helaire isn't as capable (as a runner) as Terrance Magee, who made a roster spot in the NFL

It's a comparative question.. How does Helaire compare to Magee...

AND Would we be happy with Magee as the #1 back? Could we be JUST AS happy with Helaire..
