Someone wrote yesterday that O has accepted a reduced buyout and will be allowed to fisnish out the season. Only a few know if this is really true, but for the program's sake, it would be the preferred scenario. Less black eye on the program if the "fired for cause" crap were revealed and the Yahoo writers having a field day which would damage recruiting even further.
He's not going 9-3 with a bowl win like some are saying, but he's not gonna go 3-9, either. My guess is 6-6 or maybe even 7-5 which is better than we assumed before yesterday.
Let him finish out the season. You can't hire anyone until December (at the earliest) anyway. Regardless of how it was achieved, O was the coach of the LSU Fighting Tigers when we had the greatest season in the history of college football.
