The problem is, just like with Les, you don't play one offense all year and then pull out a new, more dynamic offense for your big games. Its laughable that people thought that was the case.

When I coached Jr High football I did this and it worked. Not really comparing due to level of play and the fact we were pass-happy all year and switched to an option-run team that attempted 3 passes in the championship game (averaged approximately 30 per game).

Switching from vanilla run to a pass-first offense seems harder to do than vice versa.

Leave Ed’s comments to the side.

After watching two (2) weeks of this offense, how can anyone logically think there is another set of plays that this team will start running against Auburn that will look completely different and yield a different result?

I think fans are fooling themselves if they think this offense is going to suddenly look different and explode for 500 yards.

What kind of offense were you expecting from a career defensive line coach?

Glad to see we covered the new clock rules before the second game, after admitting this last week that we had not prepared the team on that before the first game, leading us to burn all three of our timeouts in the first quarter.

Still hoping we get it done, but definitely worried about this season.

who is making these play calls?

did ensminger really call a run play on 1st and 25 near midfield?

that is baffling. there is no reason to be conservative in that circumstance.

how does SEL have a better pass offense against a stout SEC defense than LSU has against SEL?
