We were playing another freshman, or did you not notice Ferrell get ejected?
Thomas was not on the travel squad due to roster restrictions for conference games. No one said he would make all the difference in the world, but you can't bitch about being down to your last player and having no one else to rotate when you made the decision to leave someone home.

Let's look at it this way. If Orgeron had no input over the commitments taken prior to Miles being fired, list all of the players he added to the roster to address the depth problem on the 2017 lines that occurred due to the attrition after he was hired.

You cannot just "add" linemen that are usable in a few months. O line men take 2-3 years to be at all useful, even the good ones. D linemen are also usually 2-3 years out of high school before they are solid.
Ed O recruited hard at the end last year. He had 11 interior guys (14 if you count linebackers). You can't make up for years of under recruiting in those positions. Look at the depth charts. Its all freshman after the starters. You have to have depth at these positions.

well 13/24 spots went to offensive line, defensive line, or linebacker. I mean do you seriously think last year's recruits should make us a national contenter while they are freshmen?

We go 6-6 this year (which is very possible). Then go 6-6 again and lose 2 of our first 4 games in 2019. No way Zero survives.

Refer to the post on the previous page for a reply to your previous post. You are not aware of where the numbers sat when O was hired compared to where they are now.
This comment was in reference to the idea that Miles was responsible for all commitments when he was the head coach and the notion that Orgeron tried to address the numbers issue on this current team.

I suspect it will be the new Athletic Director. But I now know for sure it will not be Joe Aleva.
Actually I will fire him along with thousands of other Tiger fans who stay away from Tiger Stadium on Saturday's. The quickest and easiest way to to fire a coach is to close up the pocketbook.
