While i don't agree with your entire post, i do think we have some of the whiniest fans i've ever been around, and i've lived quite a few places.
If we win, everyone expects national titles, if we lose we should fire our coach. I'm not saying people can't complain when a bunch of 18-22 year old kids don't play perfect football, but some of the reactions of our fanbase are just embarassing.

There's a fix for what the SEC offices want to see and how they'll work with the networks to guarantee the ratings stay high for the biggest drawing television teams and get a team to the NC game. Alabama and Florida do draw the best tv ratings to guarantee the money. I hate for that to be the truth, but they do.
