Hanny is an idiot. There is no such rule. And being in the base path without the ball or in the act of receiving the ball isn't obstruction until the point that it impedes the runners progress either physically or by the runner altering her progress or path. If the prevailing thought is that Quinn slowed down or was stopped before the catcher was in the act of catching the ball, sure. You have obstruction. But I sure as hell didn't see that at all in game or on the replay. But I'll take it!

TL;DR Bad call. But frick ucla.
