I know the Offense isn’t the the issue. But The offense would look so much better if there were no Drops. Myles would be close to 70-75% completions. Myles has had more drops so far this season than we had all last season. WRs need to get it. And some of it may be that Myles throws a hotter ball than Joe and he needs to work on touch some. But he is hitting these guys in the hands. The throw to Tory Carter was beautiful and went through his hands. I’m also one of the biggest Marshall supports you’ll find. But he has to clean it up. 1 because the drops are the only thing that could stop him from being the first WR off the board. And also because he is the guy. It all starts with him. He has to be able to hold the rest of them accountable. Myles needs to stay after practice with those guys. They need to do more. Put that jugs machine on full power and go after it.

Why are we even having plays where Tory Carter is a target? I know Gilbert was hurt but if Kole Taylor isn’t ready then run a play that doesn’t have the TE as a receiving option

bullshite. Yes, defense sucked.
But the offense is NOT performing well. The glaring inconsistencies weren't noticed that much against a high school team like Missouri.

I agree that there is plenty for the offense to improve on... but they are doing that for the most part. They are improving every week. Myles looks better every week. 0/10 on 3rd down is terrible. We need our starting line in for sure. That’s a key to establishing the run game. Ed Ingram is the start of that run game.

Haha before last season an Offense putting up the stats they are right now would be a GodSent. We will see when we start playing tougher teams and need to keep up.

Idk why were trotting Tory Carter out as a Tight End.. Hes clearly not skilled enough for it. He looks awful running routes and trying to catch passes. He’s a stud blocker and special teams guy but I have better hands than him and that’s not saying a whole lot these days.

I could actually get behind that. Just don’t have him running deep ball routes lol

i was screaming this to the top of my lungs saturday...especially when the game is on the line there is not reason to have Tory Carter in much less target him

There are two schools of thought. One. Carter may excel at catching the ball in practice. You haven’t seen it and neither have I. To. Gilbert may not have been available and they would have lost the element of surprise by throwing it to him versus Carter. That play may have been run numerous times in practice and work to perfection. The problem is in practice then defense is likely worse in coverage than Missouri. Let that sink in.
