With the number of backs we are looking forward to signing, should we consider Calhoun as a slot receiver? He is another athlete we need to find a way to get on the field..after his redshirt year of course

possibly, Lache will be taking his snaps in the backfield, If he chooses LSU. Calhoun could contribute in the kick return game.

i hope so.. If were not a full spread option team next year, having him playing running back wouldnt make much sense. Id like the move

They should have been considering Richard Murphy for a receiver position for the last couple of years also.

Lache is not coming to LSU. Him and T. Reed are bound for AU. Book it! They want to play right away. Not gonna happen here. (ie. R. Shepard) Don't think that this isn't going to affect recruiting. But, I know from the replys I am about to get to this, that some of you firmly believe it won't affect it. Believe what you will....

Define this.

Shepard and Randle are playing, they just aren't contributing all that much.

When a recruit comes here, he knows we have talent in front and playing as a freshman will be difficult.

If you want to be a star as a freshman, go to a team with desperate need at your position, or a team that sucks, not LSU.

Bama had holes at WR for Julio to step into. That's just one example.

What about winning a title. Some guys actually care about this. They might also choose a place that has the major or education that they want to pursue
