This is ridiculous. If he has the stats and LSU is in the NC hunt he'll be in the discussion.
Find a player that satisfied both of those criteria and wasn't considered a Heisman candidate.

It was a screen shot off a Twitter account from PFF. The championship talk was some guy responding. I’m not saying we don’t stand a chance to be in consideration as one of the remaining top 4 teams.
We have a veteran team coming back, what many hope to be the final implementation of a more attacking offense and the fact that what this graphic shows is a Joe Burrow that really hit his stride late in the year.
I normally stay even keeled before the start of the season. However I find it hard not to be a bit more excited to get to the start of the season this year. It’s been years since I’ve had that gut feeling to start the season. We shall see said the blind man to the deaf.
