Billy Cannon ran a 9.9. 100-yard dash.
Wrong, LSU SEC best 9.4 secs...couple that with a 16 pound shot put throw of greater than 54'! Don't ever think that this man could not compete with today's football tailbacks.

Will he also run track for LSU as Trindon did?

Miles would probably be ok with it. He gets that time down below 10.3....he'll be very competitive.

No Trindon never ran a 10.2 in HS.
But he did run a 9.98 at LSU. Jackson appears to be the kind of guy who can reach that eventually. Great to have another speedster on the team.

HOw wind aided though? 3.8 is just .8mph over the wind speed for a legal time (3.0). If he had the wind at his back on a normal Louisiana breezy day for some race (10-15mph) that would greatly help his time. Sylve ran a 10.49 on the same track with a .8 mph wind in his back, (I know not much of a wind) but 3.8 isn't much of a wind either. Probably saying smoked is a little strong, but Sylve couldn't hang with Donte on the track IMO.
The allowable wind is 2.0. His 3.8 helped him out a lot. Again, he's probably more of a high 10.4 guy................which is still faster than just about every football player he'll encounter.
