grant it- qb is a hell of a lot more complex than fb. but diff players adjust at diff rates. people are stating that if the kid at usc is playing, than why not RS? could it be coaching? yes. could it be that the usc kid is the next steve young, manning, etc? don't know. diff kids progress at diff rates. some kids make A's in class, some kids don't.
by the way, i hope the sarcasm in my previous post was obvious enough!

I love how people completely twist words around.

Allen was a guy who came in in August and was completely overwhelmed by the demands of being a student athlete.

Barkley was obviously more mature and more prepared to take on everything that came along with being a player and student. Him being there for Spring practice was huge. It allowed him to get some of the jitters out then rather than coming in in August and getting it all thrown at him at once.

Like the other poster said..Everyone's different.

Being enrolled since January certainly has paid dividends for RS. Do YOUR homework.

I really don't think the sample size we've been giving is enough to make a rational decision.

I truly think we should take the redshirt off of him, he has to be better than some walk on lineman and a powerlifting center at fullback
