We have no quality wins, sec play is right around the corner. I haven’t seen any improvement at all. We’re just not a good team, hate to say it

3 of 4 loses were by 2 points.
Those 3 losses were to decent teams.
This team looked tons better than the last game.
Smart is not aPG. He makes stupid decisions.

Smart is not the answer right now. He forces shot after shot and is hurting us more than helping. Bench time and let Bishop or graves run point with Mays.

There is still a lot of talent on this team but zero team chemistry. A lot of one on one playing, taking quick shots, not sharing the ball. And as pointed out someone has to step up into the point guard job and it doesn't look like Smart is going to be it. Would much rather have Smart waiting out at the wing as someone else penetrates and kicks it out to him for an open three.
So NIT? Not unless the above is fixed.

Our success last year was built on winning these 2 point and OT games. There’s good fortune in some of those games. The ball is not always going to roll in your favor. We still aren’t disciplined and we can’t defend. That’s nothing new.

I thought Wade was the greatest LSU coach of all time? He was declared to be the best coach at LSU, which obviously was, as I said, incorrect.

He still is. This team just doesn’t have a lot of elite talent and isn’t executing

You realize people said the exact same thing this time last year? It’s like all you morons hit your head at the end of every season and forget everything.
No we haven’t seen anything yet to indicate they are a tournament team but that’s a bad reason to say they aren’t before SEC play even begins.
Everyone wants to know the outcome of the season before it’s over. Just relax
